Random Blog Awards 2006
Intro
Last year had a successful random blog awards where more than 5 awards given out to those wonderful and deserving blogs.
This year, more than 5 awards will be given out again, to celebrate the best in the blogsphere.
My blogsphere actually.
Without further ado, lets see who won what
Best Blog Design
Win: Basu's Sweska Says
Simple and coordinated colours spread over the blog and the font used is very pleasant to the eye. The blog feels uncluttered. Makes reading a pleasure.
Honorable Mention: Elvin's Meine Reise
A lot of technologically advanced things that were self-designed. The good part is that all these self made accessories were arranged in an uncluttered manner. The bad part is that they have not changed since last year or so.
Most Sensitive New Age Guy (SNAG) Blog
Win: Dewei's Wandering Mind
Discusses about love, sentimental stuff and social theories in a much sensitive way. Talks about them in an unboring, unirritating way and simple enough for people to read. Makes the author feel and look like a real SNAG.
Honorable Mention: Elvin's Meine Reise
Also talks about sentimental stuff, love for dogs and other people, anger at big bullies and unfair stuff. But could have been more sensitive to win.
Most Devil-May-Care Blog
Win: OGH's In A Beat Of A Heart
Doesnt care about his blog at all. Postings are all random, about anything and everything under the sun. Video clips sometimes damage the blog layout for some reason but he doesnt care either. All sort of obscene and crazy pictures. What more can I say?
Honorable mention: DaeGekLeng's No Title
The blog doesnt have a proper title. The blog got no hit counter. The blog got no pictures. The blog has poor english sentence structures. But the owner doesnt care. Just wanna blog about what he want to say. Devil May care but not him.
Most Angst Ridden Blog
Win: James' When Will The Hatred End?
What does the title of the blog say? Hatred is the Keyword. The blog has alot of thoughts about slapping, throwing chairs in people's face, shouting, kicking people where it hurts most,scolding bad words and everything angsty. Who can win a person who sometimes just cannot calm down?
Honorable Mention: Elvin's Meine Reise
Complain complain and complain. About unfair stuff. About stupid people. About bullies. About busy things. About this about that. Only James could have won him in terms of angst level
Best Information Blog
Win: Jason's Rock It In Black And White
Has abundant information about SIA, food and accomodation and places of interest from all OVER THE WORLD. His blog really holds all the information possible that beats anybody hands down.
Honorable Mention: Kunhua's Kun Hua's Blog
Has abundant information about alot of aspects. Not that this blog is not good enough. It is just that it cannot possibly beat travel information that comes every two or three days.

Sentimental, imaginative and touching. Inspiring due to the human touch. Tops the rest with a beautiful and sentimental picture. Therefore the Best Blog Posting
Honorable Mention: DaeGekLeng's No Title - Funny Kitchen
Really funny, entertaining and imaginative. Talks about wanting sell a small piece of his kitchen to anybody who wants it. Triumphs any other amusing posting. If only his whole blog consist of such postings, then he would have won Best Entertainment Blog.
Best Entertainment Blog
Win: Sua Ning's Entropy
His blog was very entertaining because full of wacky theories and quizzes and you will have to litterally navigate through a huge maze to get to the actual postings. Keeps people entertained for hours. But it crashed sometime this year so this is a posthumous award.
Honorable Mention: HKT's God Is In His Heaven All Is Right With The World
Haha, so much stupid stuff. Who isnt entertained? But could have been better as not everyone agrees to this blog's entertainment value
Ending
Thats all folks. All awards are given out. Judge's decision is final and no contest of awards will be entertained. Since this is random, might not have to wait till next year for the next round of awards. Maybe I will have it when I feel random. Haha
