Whatever....
For my review on Jack Neo's film 'I Not Stupid Too', I have received much feedback.... including people who come to me in school and argue about it.....
I will reply the ones in the blog, as those I talk to personally has already been answered
First of all, I feel that some people have not watched enough films to argue what is good and what is bad..... Also, these people have not matured enough in terms of film tastes and their arguments I will not answer.
So Esther and the rest of the youngsters, say whatever you want.... Wait till you grow up haha....
As for WL and the rest of the mature audiences who are thinking of tagging my board, I can only say that we all look for different things in films when we watch......
Some for the entertainment value... some for the artistic technicalities..... some for storylines, some for the acting..... some for other stuff that I dont know about.....
Furthermore, we have different preferences and different opinions about the same things.
Based on your values, you might think that Shawn Lee and company can act well just because you can't do it.... but to me, i dun use myself as a yardstick because they are the so-called professionals that a director use for a film..... I compare with their peer actors in the industry....it will be more justified otherwise it will as good as comparing an apple with an orange.... They are both fruits yet different in their own league....
Film is about the experience and experience comes interaction of the film with your background
It is the same for some but different for others
Just like X-Men III trailer. It is really exciting to see the comics you have been reading all these years to just come to life in a dramatic way....Those who dun read comics wouldnt know what I am talking about..... It is about the experience... although I got a feeling that the film might be a letdown because the director left for 'Superman'
